Metadata associated with the CIM (Common Information Model) includes a suite of controlled vocabularies (CVs) that describe in detail the scientific properties of Earth system models and simulations. These CVs are usually structured as name/value pairs and are developed and managed by communities of domain experts. Properties can be collected by the CIM Questionnaire and displayed in the CIM Viewer and CIM Comparator.
The following is a table listing sets of CVs associated with the CIM, their points of contact, and links to more information.
|CV Group||Description||Point of Contact||Lead Institute/Project||Link/Reference|
|Baseline||Original Baseline developed by Metafor||Eric Guilyardi||CERFACS||Baseline/CMIP5 CV versions|
|CMIP5||Subset of the Baseline used for CMIP5||Eric Guilyardi||CERFACS||Baseline/CMIP5 CV versions|
